DOMAINE DE DAURION

The Collet family settled here in the 1950s, never to leave again. After introducing Chardonnay, then unknown in this region dominated by reds, they developed a Champagne method that was surprising, to say the least, in a terroir of still wines.

Daurion is the Sleeping Beauty of the Languedoc, awakening to the light of day.

A family estate of around 60 hectares, located in Caux, in the Pézenas area. Both innovative in its creations (grape bubbles, beer) and in its approach to wine tourism (escape game, sensory tasting, concerts, mixology), the estate invites you!
Born on an ancient volcano, the origins of the estate date back to the 16th century, but the first traces of viticulture date back to Roman times.

Committed to nature and respect for the soil, all the vines have been grown organically since 2020, with a personalised treatment for each plot. The wines are highly distinctive, combining basalt, clay-limestone and Villefranchian terroirs.
